Alpha-Name Freeze By Mrs. Alphabet
Objective: Children identify names by the first letter.
Materials: Music/and or instrument, letters of the alphabet
Procedure: Teacher places letters randomly around the room. When teacher stops the music children have to freeze on a letter and say a name that begins with that letter. Teacher models.
Variations: Use animal names. Make up silly names. Teach the song to introduce the game.
